Carrie Kirkpatrick, MSW, LMSW

Carrie Kirkpatrick, is a dedicated addiction counselor who earned her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health Practice from Southern Adventist University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Tennessee.

Carrie views recovery as a journey, and a deeply personal one. She sees her role as walking alongside clients with authentic presence and compassion, supporting them as they navigate challenges and rediscover meaning, healing, and hope. Her approach is grounded in ethical care, client empowerment, and the integration of holistic values within evidence-based clinical frameworks.

Carrie has experience working with diverse populations impacted by substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. She has served at Nashville Addiction Clinic and Recovery Care of Columbia for over a year, providing skills-focused therapy sessions aimed at relapse prevention and stabilization. In her work, she creates a safe, supportive space for clients to explore underlying emotional pain and develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Outside of work, Carrie is a devoted single mother of four. Her children are her greatest motivation and a constant source of perspective. She is currently in a season of learning and growth through homesteading, enjoying homemade meals, gardening, and exploring natural wellness remedies. Carrie finds peace through mindfulness practices and feels most grounded when mentoring young adult women in her community.
