Headshot of Jon Stolzer, Co-Owner/CEO at Recovery Care of Columbia and Nashville Addiction Clinic

Jon Stolzer, Co-Owner/CEO

Jon Stolzer is the Co-Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Nashville Addiction Clinic and Recovery Care of Columbia. With nearly two decades of entrepreneurial experience and the past ten years dedicated to healthcare and compliance, Jon oversees strategy, operations, and payer relations across both clinics.

As CEO, Jon leads multidisciplinary teams, manages payer relationships, and ensures clinical excellence through evidence-based practice. In his role as Head of Compliance, he is responsible for maintaining full adherence to state and federal standards, including TennCare/BESMART guidelines and Joint Commission accreditation. He oversees internal audits, policy development, and serves as the primary liaison for payer documentation and regulatory reviews.

Jon’s passion for recovery work is deeply personal. After years of struggling with chronic pain and opioid dependence, he found lasting recovery at Hazelden Betty Ford in Minnesota. His experiences in traditional MAT settings—where clinics often felt impersonal and transactional—inspired him to create a new kind of treatment environment rooted in compassion, professionalism, and dignity.

This vision led to the creation of Nashville Addiction Clinic, which quickly became the highest patient-rated MAT clinic in the state. In partnership with longtime friend and colleague Drew Bourke, Jon co-founded Recovery Care of Columbia to further reduce barriers to care. Together, they launched Tennessee’s first two all-virtual OBOT programs, accepting both Medicaid and commercial insurance, and offering a Sliding Scale Program to ensure cost is never a barrier to recovery.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys life on his horse farm with his wife, their dogs, and cats. Together, they share a love for Japanese culture, cuisine, and design, and travel to Japan several times a year.

His work focuses on building scalable, tech-enabled care models that expand access to treatment and streamline the recovery journey for patients across Tennessee.

Before entering the healthcare field, Drew spent over two decades as a technology entrepreneur. After losing his oldest brother to addiction and enduring a 13-year battle with opioids himself, he entered recovery in 2014 and shifted his focus to a more personal mission.

In 2017, he opened his first outpatient addiction treatment clinic in Nashville, TN. In 2021, he partnered with longtime friend and former competitor Jon Stolzer, now Co-owner and CEO, to launch Recovery Care of Columbia. Together, they are building Tennessee’s first virtual OBOT clinics, combining Jon’s expertise in leadership and compliance with Drew’s marketing and systems design.

Outside the clinic, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing drums, lifting weights, and chasing the adrenaline rush of motorsports.
