A temporary image placeholder for Nashville Addiction Clinic personnel photosRyan Bundren is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor II and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 11 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate addiction recovery. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry and a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in counseling from Urshan University, and he is currently a doctoral candidate in a PhD program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Eastern University.

Ryan specializes in trauma-informed care, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) support, Family Systems Theory, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. His approach centers on understanding how life experiences shape identity, relationships, and perception. He works to help clients separate who they are from the struggles they face — empowering them to re-author their stories and rediscover hope, purpose, and connection.

He chose this field because individuals struggling with addiction are often overlooked or shamed, limiting access to lifesaving care. Ryan is committed to ensuring that compassionate, evidence-based treatment is accessible to those who need it most.

Outside of work, Ryan is an avid collector of vintage stereo equipment and vinyl records, a devoted husband and father, and a lifelong fan of The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek.
